For millions of people heading out to work at the beginning of the work week in Toronto, Mondays are dreaded. They are marked by a procession of tired, lazy, and cold masses, walking to work like lifeless zombies. Saving Mondays is a bakery that aims to bring joy to the painful return to work through hot, freshly baked goods. We worked with this young group of foodies and chefs to come up with a brand identity that was not like any other bakery brand; that was anti-cupcake-shop in every way possible. A graffiti inspired logo and a set of hand drawn icons were the tools needed for the edgy bakery to take the city by storm.
